Analogue icon of St. Nicholas, second half of the 19th century. A magnificent example of fine writing, balanced coloring and traditional iconography, where the saint is represented by a frontal half-figure, with the Mother of God and Christ in front. The severity of the darkened face is set off by the gold with a green chord of the saint`s clothes and the red cut of the Bible. The icon is a well-preserved work of the Russian icon-painting school of modern times, without restoration interventions. Dimensions: 31x26 cm. Vuchetich and the German Icon Gallery of 1978 are attached.
