La celèbre firme moscovite Laurier a ete fondee en 1871. Fedor Antonovich Lorie de 1858 à 1920 possedait une usine de bijoux et d`argent. En 1895, il ouvre une bijouterie à Kuznetsky Most 4, en face du magasin Faberge. L`entreprise produisait de l`argenterie, des articles menagers et d`interieur, divers cadres en cristal et des bijoux. La technique de moulage et de gaufrage est utilisee avec le plus haut degre de competence, combinee aux effets d`un ornement estampe.
