The well-known Moscow firm Laurier was founded in 1871. Fedor Antonovich Lorie from 1858 to 1920 owned a jewelry and silver factory. In 1895, he opened a jewelry store at Kuznetsky Most 4, across the wall from the Faberge store. The company produced silverware, household and interior items, various crystal frames and jewelry. The casting and embossing technique is used with the highest degree of skill, combined with the effects of a stamped ornament.
