Julius Klever. 1878 On the Sunset. Winter landscape. One of the thin and non-trivial canvases of the artist. It juicy and sweepingly weaves the atmosphere of a pre-sunset, snowy evening, where a traveler, a restless Russian soul, leads us to the sadness of a neglected garden and house. The gray lace of heavy snows and damp clouds hugs and envelops the pinkish patch of sunset light on the roof of the house. It is a warm spot of goodness and hope, opposed to the cold environment. All the last mercy to the outgoing sounds in this work. And the gnarled trees of the foreground are symbols of a long and suffering path, where the light of the sun, touching the tops of the branches, gives hope. Canvas, oil. 69X80 cm. Expertise is attached.
