Solid and weighty silver salt shaker-throne from Ivan Khlebnikov. Moscow. 1883 Stylizes a full-weight casket and a carved back of a spinning wheel. Chopped, compact and well-crafted shapes fit well in the hand. Precisely fitted, the lid with handle impresses with its jewelery quality. The entire salt shaker is mounted and decorated with dense, bright, champleve enamel. The highest artistic skill of enamels is executed in blue-blue, red-white colors. The composite back of the chair is decorated with two roosters given symmetrically with respect to the cartouche. The lid of the salt shaker is made like a towel with a geometric pattern. On the inside of the lid there is the Moscow brand of 88 assay silver and the brand of Ivan Khlebnikov, THEM in a rectangular shield. On the basis of the salt shaker Moscow hallmarks of 1883, assay master Shebanov Semyon Alekseevich. A barely noticeable double-headed eagle in a circle, as part of the brand of the supplier of His Imperial Court, Ivan Khlebnikov, later clogged with early Soviet hallmarks of 875 samples.
