An impressive pair of decorative sculptures representing noble warriors clad in Renaissance-style knightly armour. Executed in patinated and gilt bronze, the figures exhibit finely detailed weapons, crests, and ornamental elements. Each composition features shields with emblems and elaborate helmets crowned with allegorical decorations. The warriors stand atop black marble pedestals, richly adorned with laurel wreaths and gilded heraldic motifs in relief.A work of outstanding quality, most likely created in Hanau or Vienna in the late 19th century, in the spirit of historicism and romantic medieval revival.
