The composition of each piece is structured around a central baluster richly decorated with relief ornament, rising from a multi-tiered base supported by elegantly curved feet adorned with elaborate vegetal motifs. The upper section is formed as a crown of gracefully scrolling candle arms terminating in drip pans, each embellished with elongated clear crystal pendants that enhance the play of light and impart a distinctly ceremonial character.
The birds are rendered with pronounced attention to the plasticity of the plumage and the dynamism of the silhouette, aligning these works with the traditions of Russian Historicism and the romantic interpretation of natural motifs characteristic of 19th century decorative arts. The ornamental vocabulary of the bodies includes stylized foliage, fluting and medallions, typical of high-quality bronze production of the period.
