Carl Thieme 1816–1888
Carl Thieme (1816–1888) Porcelain manufactory. Founded in 1872 by Carl Thieme in Potschappel. Basically, the factory produced cutlery and decorative items, sculpture and souvenirs. Meissen and Viennese styles served as role models in the decor technique.In the post-war years, the manufactory was nationalized and in 1972 it was renamed "Saxon Porcelain Factory in Dresden".
