Fine 19th century French fireplace in red-brown Rouen marble and gilt bronze from the Napoleon III period. The wave-like composition of the facade perfectly combines the soft color of the stone and the gilded decor of the scallops. The noble comfort of marble is complemented by an exquisite fireplace set with patina and gilded bronze, the central doors of which are decorated with two porcelain medallions depicting cupids. Below, a dynamic roccaille chimney railing, also in gilded bronze, completes the ensemble and anticipates the phenomena of fire. Overall dimensions: 114 cm high, 164 cm wide, 36 cm deep.
