Louis XV style.
The Louis XV style is the French Rococo style, which is more related to decorative and applied art and, to a lesser extent, to architecture due to the atectonicity of its formal elements and the aesthetic limitation of themes, plots and motifs, associated mainly with the courtly art of painting. drawing, engraving, costume, furniture, fabrics and jewelry. Therefore, in contrast to the general concept of "Rococo", the name "Louis XV style" is often used to denote a range of themes, artists and their works directly related to the life of the royal court. In turn, the Rococo style, which originated in France at the court of King Louis, over time overcame territorial and chronological boundaries, having developed in Prussia, Saxony, Czech Republic and Russia (Elizabethan Rococo), in some cases, primarily in the French province, existed until at the end of the 18th century, and later, it was revived in the forms of Neo-Rococo in the 19th and even at the beginning of the 20th century.
