Medvedev Vsevolod Dmitrievich
Medvedev Vsevolod Dmitrievich (1912, Rostov-on-Don - 1985, Moscow) Honored Worker of Culture of the USSR. In 1931 he graduated from the Rostov Art-Industrial College (teachers A. Chinenov, E. Steinberg, A. Chernykh). At the end of 1955 he entered the Moscow Union of Artists. Painter, cartoonist, book illustrator of Russian classics ("Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy, "The Prince and the Pauper" by M. Twain). A personal exhibition was held in Moscow in 1968. The author′s works were presented in the collections of the L.N. Tolstoy, the Military History Museum of Artillery, Ground Forces and Communications, the Art Museum of the Latvian USSR.
