An elegant silver candy dish on a round base with a movable handle of rounded cross-section. The interior is decorated with a painted wreath of oak and laurel leaves, intertwined with a blue ribbon and adorned with small berries. The rim is decorated with a frieze of geometric patterns in rich blue and light blue tones, executed using the champlevé enamel technique with a thin green border along the edge. This composition is distinguished by a rare combination of painted enamel and the austere form of the body, reflecting the aesthetics of Moscow jewelry of the late 19th century.
Hallmarks: Master`s mark CI - Simeon Ivanov, Moscow silversmith; assay mark with the initials I.A. and the date 1888 (Moscow assay master); state assay mark with the fineness designation 88 and the coat of arms of Moscow (St. George).
