A superb silver writing set created by the Fabergé firm in the late 19th century is an outstanding example of the jewellery art of its time. The front of the set depicts a Siren - a mythological creature with a female torso and a bird`s lower part. The covers of the set are made in the form of sea shells, which gives the product an element of the enchanting sea element. Decorative dolphin figures on the lids emphasize the connection with the sea and add dynamics and grace to the items. The writing set is presented in an elegant wooden case.
