And brilliantly complemented by three shell-shaped glass bowls. Engraved signature on glass. The period of Napoleon III. Height: 51 cm. Diameter: 35 cm.Family business Louis Lerolle (1813–1875) who passed the bronze foundry to his sons, Edouard-François and Camille, in 1849, who then became known as the Lerolle Brothers.

The style of Napoleon III fused the styles of Louis XIV, XV, XVI, Empire style on the basis of neo-Renaissance into an original product of eclecticism. Became the crown of historical reminiscences of the 19th century. Dominated in architecture and arts and crafts in France during the Second Empire (1852-1870), especially in Paris. The term is also used to describe furniture from this period. The style is characterized by ostentatious luxury and overload of decorative details.
