Russian silver ladle in Art Nouveau style, created in the workshop of Vasily Ivanovich Andreyev, is an outstanding example of Russian decorative and applied art in Art Nouveau style. The shape of the ladle, stylized as a boat, is characterized by smooth lines and curves that embody the aesthetics of this artistic movement. The ladle has an expressive silhouette: the uneven upper edge creates the effect of movement, and the handle, made in the form of a stylized ship element, is decorated with a geometric pattern with a wave element. The body of the ladle is decorated with an openwork pattern on the front and back, giving the product complexity and sophistication. The inside of the ladle is covered with gilding, which adds nobility to the product and emphasizes its status character, harmoniously completing the overall composition. Hallmarks: Moscow Assay Office with sample 84 (silver), corresponding to the period 1899-1908; name of V.A. workshop of Vasily Ivanovich Andreev.
