Georges Morin (German: Georges Morin) is an outstanding German painter, sculptor and medalist, who left a noticeable mark on the art of the 19th and 20th centuries. Known for his multi-faceted talent, Morin became famous in such fields as architectural sculpture, painting, medallion art, and the creation of statues and figures. Education and InspirationGeorges Morin was born on April 30, 1874 in Berlin, Germany. His path to art began at the Berlin Academy of Art, where he studied from 1892 to 1896 under the guidance of masters Ernst Herter and Peter Breuer. After successfully completing his studies, Morin continued his education in Paris, attracted by the beauty and grace of the oriental dancers of the Commedia Dell′Arte. Their fluid movements and expressive poses became a source of inspiration for many of his works. Travel and CareerAfter his stay in Paris, Morin traveled to Italy and England, which further enriched his artistic experience. Returning to Berlin, he settled at Görrestrasse 16 in the Berlin-Friedenau district, surrounded by fellow artists.
