Albert Fernand Reno was born in 1887 in France. He received his artistic education in Paris, where he developed under the influence of the academic tradition and Post-Impressionist painting. From an early stage he participated in the artistic life of the capital and exhibited consistently at the Salon des Artistes Français. In 1928 he was awarded a silver medal, followed by a gold medal in 1931 at the Salon in Paris. These distinctions affirmed his professional standing within the institutional framework of French art. He died in 1939.
